Last few days.......

The shows in europe on the Plastic Beach Tour with Gorillaz were super nice! Paris and Berlin was mad and amazing!

After our last show we took of to Istanbul and randomly crossed paths with Junip at airport in Amsterdam. The only other swedish band we know (lol) who own the other half of our studio space ...small world.

Our Istanbul show was.... well lets just say not the most amazing experience ever. A bit corporate but nevertheless we love the city and cant wait to come back.

Gorillaz US tour has come to an end. Its been great times!!
Me and Fred going home now for a couple days.
Might just go straight to the studio.... high five Håkan and Erik have a reunion hug and then get mixing!

Kathryn Gibson and Crispin Andersson (our sound engineer ) moved to Falköping Sweden from London a couple of years ago.
Guess they were tired of city hustle and drawn to the nature and the quite.
On there visit they found a abandoned church from the 70ties that they decided to move into.

As Crispin travels around with us playing shows his lady is home in the forest making some crazy jewels!
I love her work because its so unique and experimental, some of her pieces make sounds while others are just plain beautiful and sculptural.
Her materials vary from wood to silver to random objects that she finds and gives life.
Ive been sneaking around a bunch of her new pieces and they make me wanto be part of a scifi dream.
Cant wait to visit when home and check out her studio in the woods!

At soundcheck in Basel one of the guys working at the place had a yoyo that he was doing tricks with. Me and Erik were in trance and basically couldn't get our eyes of the thing. Seriously this field has evolved ....yes I used to have a yoyo like many others but it wasn't really that high tech. Being in the bubble of writing music makes u forget these little gadgets that used to take up your time as a kid. Check out this yoyo master, I like the wooi sounds of awe in the background lol!

This morning when the guys were sound asleep in dream land I got a chance to visit Jean Paul Knott's studio.
Tried on some special pieces and It was fun! Yes I will go back next time Im in Belgium.
Didn't meet Jean Paul himself but met his very sweet and helpful assistant Barbara and she guided me through his gear.
Alot of his pieces had a japanese inspired feel and the fabric was so soft made you want to drown into them.
